This New Moon brings a feeling of a fresh start, do you feel it? New Moons help us be at the edge and jump. They are where our old life and the new life MOVE FROM ONE to the OTHER and have a blending together. What is calling you at the threshold of a new decade, first New Moon at the lunar New Year? This marks a significant shift moving into a new decade. One of my astrology teachers, Sheila Belanger, gave a webinar recently and this is a quote she read: “It may be that we live in a time of collective heartbreak, where for the first time in history we are being asked to witness the disappearance and reappearance on a global scale of what it means to be fully human…the old humanistic story around ourselves as a successful species, always on the up and up and appointed to some special destiny, is fading and silvering into the night air, and we are left at this point in history, contemplating the unknown immensity of the night behind it.” I believe we do not have to die to reincarnate anymore, we stay alive to evolve into our next soul initiation of life. It is not easy but the world you were born into and the patterns you may have thought would work forever are changing. These are profound times of change. What needs a reboot or is still living in the shadow of you that is asking to be discovered or reborn? As the Sun and Moon come together, they attune us to our feelings and instinct. The sky and us are interconnected and this New Moon in Aquarius open us up to the revolutionist who wants freedom from the status quo. One Aquarian strength is divination. It is a fixed air sign and deals with ideas, images, and language yet loves structure. It influences us to build theories and grand visions that inspire the world. At this Lunar new year, it is a wonderful time to look in “out of the box” ways as we open to all possibilities. Tune into the revolutionist of you. We know that our world is UNPREDICTABLE yet we love to have a safe plan. Allow the Wholeness of the Universe to influence your plan. What is the deep underbelly of you wanting to seed? What “dream Seeds” are calling from your instinct that want new directions? Do you want to be something different as you belong to the larger community of this world? Divine it by believing in yourself and asking The Invisible World for help. I will finish with a quote from Dare to Lead by Brene Brown: “We are not here to fit in, be well balanced or provide example for others. We are here to be eccentric, different perhaps, strange perhaps, but merely to add our small piece, our little clunky chunky selves to the great mosaic of beings. As the gods intended, we are here to become more and more ourselves!” |
